The revival of spiritual life in Kindyakovka, a significant part of the Railway District, began with the laying of a memorial chapel in honor of St. George the Victorious. This event took place on Victory Day in 1997, and the chapel was consecrated six months later, in November of the same year. The chapel is located next to the churches of the John the Baptist parish, and the clergy of this parish hold annual thanksgiving services there on May 9. Various patriotic events for the district are also held here. The names of residents of the Railway District who fell during the Great Patriotic War, the Afghan, and Chechen wars are immortalized on the walls of the chapel.
