In 2016, a chapel dedicated to King David was built opposite the main building of the monastery. This is particularly interesting because prior to its construction, there was not a single chapel or church in the Volgograd diocese in honor of this famous biblical prophet and author of the Psalms, the reading of which is considered one of the main monastic obediences.
