The holy spring dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness" is known among locals as the Tenderness spring or the spring of the Mother of God of Tenderness. It is located in the Dove Hollow by a small stream, the Lubinka River. Downstream from the Lubinka are two more Orthodox shrines of Diveevo: the spring in honor of the Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon and the spring in honor of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God. These springs feed the Lubinka, which, flowing into another river, the Vichkinza, resembles a small stream.

On the northern slope of the hollow, on Kazanskaya Street, there is another attraction of the Diveevo Monastery, a wooden church in the name of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God. In 1988, after the end of the persecution of Orthodox Christians in Russia, the revival of the Holy Trinity Seraphimo-Diveevo Women’s Monastery began with this church.

The spring dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness" is associated with one of the most revered icons by Seraphim of Sarov. The elder spent much time in prayer before this icon and passed away on his knees. A miraculous copy of the icon occupies a place of honor in the cathedral in glory of the Life-Giving and Life-Creating Trinity in the main temple of the Diveevo Monastery, symbolizing that the Most Holy Theotokos is the Supreme Abbess of the monastery.

The architectural complex of the spring includes a chapel and three bathing facilities made of coniferous wood, harmonizing with other structures of the Fourth Earthly Estate of the Queen of Heaven. The chapel over the spring in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness" was consecrated on April 13, 2010, by Archbishop Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.
