Фото 1
On June 28, 1888, the cathedral protodeacon Pisarevsky, along with the city clergy, consecrated the stone chapel built by the residents in 1884 near the cathedral church in memory of the martyr's death of Emperor Alexander II.

There is another version, according to which this chapel was consecrated, like the chapel of Alexander Nevsky in Yaroslavl, in honor of the miraculous salvation of Alexander III's family during the train crash on October 17, 1888, and is dedicated to the heavenly patron of the tsar, Alexander Nevsky.
