In the center of Paleh, near the monument to the Unknown Soldier, there is a chapel dedicated to the holy prince Alexander Nevsky. It was restored in 2006 thanks to the efforts of local entrepreneurs and residents, mainly parishioners of the Ilyinsky Church. The chapel was built on the site of an ancient structure with the same name and similar architecture. The consecration took place on July 16, 2008, conducted by Bishop Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Kineshma. The chapel is affiliated with the Ilyinsky parish of Paleh.
