Fortunately, descendants of the Labutins, grandfather Abram and his son Alexander, still live in Gorki. It was Alexander who personally built the chapel, financing the construction, while his grandfather assisted him. The work took a long time. The years of construction, 1908-1910, are determined by the age of the granddaughter, who brought lunches to the workers. In 2011, the chapel was restored with funds from the villagers and was re-consecrated.
