In 1887, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Bogoyavlensky Church, a chapel was built. It is small and cubic in shape, topped with a tent roof and a round drum with an onion dome. The facade of the chapel is divided into two parts by flat pilasters, and the entrance is adorned with a keel-shaped kokoshnik. On the southern side of the chapel, there is a window. This structure is dedicated to the holy and righteous Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky. The walls of the chapel are painted with scenes from the life of the Grand Duke, created by icon painters V.A. Lebedev, A.G. Grachev, and P.F. Zayets.
