In 1900, two beautiful twin buildings were constructed in Azov, housing the trading rows. This place quickly became one of the most popular in the city, where citizens could buy everything they desired. This situation persisted until the arrival of Soviet power, after which private trade was banned, many merchants either fled or faced repression, and the trading rows were closed.

Over the years, the buildings fell into disrepair but avoided complete destruction. Today, they again host various cafes and shops. A few years ago, when a new cafe was being set up, people peeked into the basement and were astonished. The basement turned out to be completely untouched, preserving all its details: elegant columns and arches, wall openings, and elements made of natural wood, which over time, due to numerous growths, began to resemble iron. This was the only basement that remained untouched for a hundred years, unlike others that had been disfigured by constant renovations.
