Everyone arriving in Tambov by train cannot help but notice the beautiful old building, which has two grand facades facing the Station Square and International Street. This two-story brick structure, adorned with numerous decorative elements, was built in the early 20th century by Count Gudovich, a representative of the noble Tambov gentry. Before the revolution, the estate with its buildings was rented out for entertainment establishments, including a folk theater and restaurant. Since the establishment of Soviet power and to this day, the buildings of the former Gudovich estate are used as a central hospital for the "Tambov" station.
