On May 18, 2011, the second monument to the great Russian commander Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov was unveiled in Rostov-on-Don. This monument is in the form of a bronze bust, created by Rostov sculptor Anatoly Dementyev. The bust was made at the request of the Rostov Regional Public Organization "Suvorov-Nakhimov-Cadet Union," which raised funds for the implementation of this project. The monument is installed in front of the building of Rostov Lyceum No. 27, named after the famous generalissimo.
