The Epiphany Tower of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery in Yaroslavl is one of the ancient structures of the male hermitage, which once played an important role in the city's history. Today, the monastery grounds house a museum complex. The Epiphany Tower is a cylindrical two-tiered structure resembling a pagoda in the style of Russian Baroque. The intricately shaped roof is topped with a pointed spire, gilded at the top. Part of the stone masonry on the northern side dates back to the 16th-17th centuries. The decorative annexes adjoining the tower were built much later, in the early 19th century. Unfortunately, the interior decoration of the pagoda tower has not survived to this day. However, from the outside, just like two centuries ago, the false buttresses with their snow-white pinnacles and stone spheres adjoining the lower tier continue to impress with their beauty.
