The Holy Kazan Mother of God Men's Monastery in the village of Vinnovka, Stavropol District of Samara Province, was founded by the decree of the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church on December 26, 2006. The monastery has the status of "Archbishopric," and its Holy Archimandrite is Bishop Sergey, Metropolitan of Samara and Syzran.

Although the monastery has existed relatively recently, its history dates back to the 18th century and is rich in events. The area where the monastery is located has long been considered blessed. People began to settle on the surrounding hills as early as the Neolithic or "New Stone Age." Archaeologists have discovered several sites and settlements that changed over time on the monastery's territory.

In 1770, a wooden church was built and consecrated in the village, then known as Vinnaya-na-Klyuche, in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, after which the village was renamed Bogorodskoye-Vinnovka. In 1839, a fire occurred in the village, destroying much of the settlement, including the church. At that time, the landowner of the village was Anna Alexeyevna Orlova-Chesmensky, the daughter of the famous Russian commander Alexey Orlov-Chesmensky. She was deeply religious and actively supported the Church. By her order, construction of a new stone church began on May 19, 1842. However, in 1843, Orlova sold the land to the princely department, and construction was halted. In 1848, the peasant community decided to raise funds to complete the construction, and in 1851 the church was finished and consecrated. It functioned as a rural parish until 1930.

On February 26, 1930, according to the official version, the church was closed due to the community's refusal to pay taxes. The church was planned to be demolished, the bells were thrown into the river, and attempts were made to remove the crosses from the domes, but they were only bent. The interior decoration was destroyed, many icons were chopped up and burned, but some were saved by local residents and later returned.

In 2001, a church community was recreated in the village of Vinnovka. Due to a lack of funding and a small community, the restoration of the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God progressed slowly. In 2003, with the blessing of Archbishop Sergey and the efforts of the brotherhood of the Holy Resurrection Men's Monastery in Samara, work on the restoration of the church and the creation of a monastery courtyard intensified. The beginning of the work was marked by a procession and a prayer service. On October 5, 2003, the first Divine Liturgy was held in the ruined church. Soon, the church building was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church for indefinite free use. The examination and design work were carried out by the company "PAREKS" and TM "Kharitonova."

In 2005, it was decided to elevate the status of the courtyard to Archbishopric. On April 26, 2006, the first Archbishop's Easter service was held in the church.

Currently, there are three active churches in the monastery: in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, in the name of Saint Sergey of Radonezh, and in the name of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, consecrated by Metropolitan Sergey and Metropolitan Nektariy in 2014 on the feast of the Holy Trinity. The construction of the gate church in honor of the Holy Prophet John the Baptist is almost complete, with finishing works underway.
