The Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, also known as Shōshinjō Fukuin Daisēidō, is the cathedral of the Kyoto and Western Japan Diocese of the Japanese Orthodox Church and is located in Kyoto, Japan.

In 1880, a plot with a wooden house was acquired in Kyoto. Later, two more plots were purchased on either side of the temple. One of the houses was intended for the priest, the other for the catechist, while the remaining two were used for a women's school.

The construction of the cathedral was completed in 1901: the foundation and porch were made of granite, the walls of wood, and the roof covered with copper. The iconostasis, commissioned by the Moscow benefactor V. G. Dudyskin, was crafted by master Epaneshnikov. Damages to the icons that occurred during transportation from Russia were restored by Japanese icon painter Irina Yamashita.

The consecration of the temple took place on April 27, 1903, on the fourth Sunday after Easter, by Bishop Nikolai (Kasatkin). On the eve, April 26, the relics of Saint Martyr Mardar were placed in the granite altar. The rite of consecration was conducted in Japanese. The first rector of the temple was Priest Simeon Mii, a graduate of the Kyiv Theological Academy.
