The entrance ensemble is a memorial-triumphal "Turkish fortress," designed as a romantic brick decoration with white elements. It serves as a visual reminder of the capture of the city of Machina by N.V. Repnin. The complex consists of two symmetrically located round two-tiered towers, adjacent to single-story guardhouses and sentry rooms. The construction dates back to around the 1780s.

The exact author of the project is unknown. Some attribute its creation to prominent architects of that era, such as V.I. Bazhenov and M.F. Kazakov, while others believe it to be the work of D. Kvarnegi.

There is an opinion that before the Patriotic War of 1812, there were fortress walls between the entrance ensemble and the northern and southern towers. This may have led the German inventor Franz Leppich to choose the tower for building a balloon.

The entrance ensemble is one of the most famous parts of the park. The "Turkish fortress" is even depicted on the coat of arms of the South-Western Administrative Okrug.
