On the shore of the Anapa Cape, at the site of an ancient burial mound, stands the architectural structure, Anapa Lighthouse.

The first lighthouse in Anapa was established on July 14, 1898. At that time, there was an earthen mound left from the ancient burial mound at the edge of the high shore, where the flashing lighthouse was placed. On October 20, 1909, it began its operation, illuminating the way for many ships.

However, during the Great Patriotic War, Anapa was captured by the fascists, who destroyed the lighthouse during their retreat.

The restoration of the Anapa Lighthouse began in 1955 on the steep shore of Anapa Cape. The lighthouse tower has an octagonal shape and is adorned with three black horizontal stripes. The central light is located 43 meters above sea level and emits a red group flashing light, visible from a distance of 18.5 miles. In addition, the lighthouse is equipped with radio technical means, such as a radio beacon, radio station, and autonomous diesel generator.
