Next to the Green Theatre in Sochi's Riviera Park lies the Writers' Alley. It features 21 sculptural portraits of Russian and Soviet writers made of copper. Originally, from the late 1950s to the mid-1980s, the busts were made of reinforced concrete and were larger in size. Later, by decision of the city heritage protection authorities, they were replaced with a more durable material. The Writers' Alley is recognized as a monument of local historical and cultural significance and is a pleasant place for walks.
