The municipal cultural institution "Akbulak Historical and Local Lore Museum" was established on March 5, 2008, by the order of the head of the municipal formation "Akbulak District" A. A. Kuzmin. In May 2011, the museum was named after the veteran of the Great Patriotic War and honorary citizen of Akbulak District I. P. Redko. The total area of the museum is 361.4 sq. m, of which 338 sq. m is allocated for exhibition halls, and 311 sq. m is occupied by the park area. The museum has seven halls: an exhibition hall, an ethnographic hall, a nature hall, two halls of military and labor glory, as well as two historical halls.
