Rerikh's Address in London

Nikolai Rerikh, the famous Russian artist, writer, archaeologist, theosophist, and philosopher, lived with his family in London from 1919 to 1920 at 25 Queen’s Gate Terrace, South Kensington. His sons, Yuri and Svyatoslav, also became famous. During this period, Rerikh worked as a set designer at the Royal Opera House, founded the Agni Yoga school, and befriended prominent figures such as Rabindranath Tagore and Herbert George Wells. In the UK, he was an active member of the Russian-British Brotherhood and organized exhibitions titled 'The Charms of Russia' in London and Worthing.
