This elite store, founded in Kyiv in the mid-1800s, has been a symbol of high society in New York since 1930, offering Fabergé pieces and other exquisite Russian jewelry. Throughout the 20th century, New York's elite and the global aristocracy regularly acquired Russian treasures here.
"My grandparents introduced the United States to the beautiful works of art by Fabergé, and A La Vieille Russie takes pride in continuously offering exquisite and exclusive antique jewelry and treasures of the Russian Empire in New York since the 1920s," noted Mark Schaffer, a representative of the family that owns the store.
