House at Elizabeth, 10B
The building was designed by the father of the famous filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein - Mikhail Eisenstein.
The house was built in 1903.
A characteristic feature of the building is the rich facade decoration with stucco and images. The composition of masks, peacocks, sculptural heads, and geometric figures on the crown of the facade stands out, as well as its upper part covered with blue ceramic tiles.
The facade was designed based on a copy (with additions) of the drawing by Leipzig architects Georg Winshmann and Hans Kotzel.
