D long time was the plot where house No. 6 now stands part of a large estate at 1st Spasonalivkovsky Lane, 4-8, known since the mid-18th century and owned by the princes Vyazemsky. In the 19th century, this estate was divided into three manors, the main houses of which faced the red line of the lane (No. 4, 6, and 8). Until the second half of the 19th century, there were almost no buildings on this plot, except for a small house on the border of the yard and garden. Only in the 1880s did a single-story wooden mansion on a stone foundation with a basement appear here. At the end of the 19th century, it was expanded with extensions on the western and northern sides, and the entrance was made from the eastern facade.

Despite its modest size and unassuming decor, the rooms along the street facade featured good proportions and rich eclectic decorations. Inside, there were parquet floors and modern stoves. In 1911, the estate was owned by the wealthy peasant Mikhail Ivanovich Alekseichev. In addition to the main house where his family lived, the territory included a stable, cellar, laundry, warehouses, and sheds. Along the northern boundary was a small gilding production, which was typical for Zamoskvorechye at that time, known as a merchant and factory district.

The estate's buildings remained until the 1970s, but by 1983 all service buildings had been lost, and a kindergarten was built in their place. During the Soviet era, the mansion remained residential, and in 1994 it was vacated and restored. Part of the interior decoration from the 1880s-1890s has been preserved: stucco, cornices, and parquet from the 19th century. Unassuming eclectic details, such as stucco plafonds, have survived to this day. The decor of the large windows harmoniously combines with the decorations of the basement floor. During the restoration, the fence between houses No. 6 and No. 4 was recreated. In this part of Zamoskvorechye, several historical mansions along the red line of the lane have been preserved, each recognized as a monument of architecture.
